Each varietal has characteristic flavors and aromas: Chardonnay’s buttery citrus aroma, Viognier’s floral nose, a French Burgundy “barnyardy fragrance”, Gewürtztraminer’s kerosene, Zinfandel’s pepper and spice, or Cabernet’s chocolate and red berry fruit.
