BLUE RIDGE WINE RETREAT — Let the wine and food learning begin!
DAY 1
--- 2pm - Please arrive before 2pm. Classes commence as we enjoy virtual journeys through famous wine regions and food and wine pairing lessons.

--- 6pm - Guess the $100 Bordeaux Happy Hour. Guess correctly — win a surprise!
--- 7pm - Roll your sleeves up to help prep and plate the farm to table Winemakers Dinner where we'll explore wine and food first hand in a myriad of lessons paired with a real winemakers meal.
DAY 2
--- 7am - up 'n at 'em! Coffee's up on the sleeping floor landing whenever you're ready to wake up!
--- 8m - Go scavenge for food! We are not a B&B so we do not make breakfast! Lucky you -- the 3 best bakeries in the USA are within a mile of us -- find them all on our eat page at discoverrappahannock.com
Before & After in Sperryville (next village to the west) does breakfast food in addition to coffee and pastries. PS — the soft ginger cookie is breakfast! Best coffee spot east of Kauai!
Walker Bakeshop is the new kid in town just this side of Sperryville in the new Sperryville Marketplace.
Patty O's Bakery (Chef Patrick O'Connell’s Bakery) Yes, the chef known as the Pope of Cuisine in the World has a bakery right by us in Little Washington (next village to the east).
--- 11am - Come back — Learning continues as we participate in Vintners Table Learning Lunch, playing with 5 of our wines, 3 entrees, 3 cheeses, 3 desserts and 3 chocolate artisan truffles to learn how to get perfect food and wine pairings every time.
--- Any time between 3pmish and 5:30pm on your way out of town --- Report to our urban Wine Loves Chocolate tasting room for your Choco-Vino Challenge final exam.
Retreat Cost — $300 per person includes our regular price for the 4 wine ed lessons, Winemakers Dinner & the Choco-Vino Challenge final exam.
We would love to have you be our guest completely FREE between day 1 and day 2 of the retreat. Our winemakers house has 5 spare bedrooms. Our rooms only have one bed. We can fit couples double occupancy in each room. If we don’t have too many participants we can offer rooms as single occupancy. Reserve early if you need a single room. Once the retreat is full we can no longer accommodate splitting the room wishes.
Discounts and Refunds are not available at all for Blue Ridge Wine Retreat. We pre-pay weeks in advance for catering & wine costs related to the retreat. It's ok to opt not to attend scheduled events. The Retreat still costs $300 per person. Just let us know so we don't pour too much wine!
